At Prudential Thailand, we launched “Pru Youngster Spirit” programme in collaboration with the Foundation for Older Persons Development  (FOPDEV) to repair dilapidated homes for the elders. Under the programme, Prudential staff volunteers together with students volunteers nationwide visited disaster affected communities to share knowledge on natural disasters preparedness, as well as repair houses of the vulnerable elders in Fang District, Chiang Mai Province.

Prudential Thailand also partners with Plan International Thailand to implement Safe School programme. The programme aims to teach school children on how to prepare for natural disasters, keep safe and minimise the impact of future disasters. In November 2016, thirty-one Prudential volunteers participated in construction activity by fixing landslide breakers in Pang Ton Duea School, Chiang Mai Province as part of the Safe School programme.
