Prudential plc received the Diamond Award in the non-Hang Seng index (Large Market Capitalisation) category of the Best Corporate Governance Disclosure Awards 2011, organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prudential was recognised for its good corporate governance practices and disclosures, as exemplified by its 2010 annual report.

China

CITIC Prudential Fund Management's Four Seasons (Sijihong) Balanced Fund awarded the 2007 Golden Performance Fund Award, issued on behalf of major local financial publications.
CITIC Prudential Life’s Chuang Weilai Participating Whole Life Plan and Anxiang Weilai Participating Retirement Annuity Plan were voted The Most Popular Insurance Product at the Finance Services Innovative Forum 2011 and 2010-2011 Top 10 Best Insurance Products respectively.
CITIC Prudential Life was named The greatest potential brand in the Insurance Industry at the 2011 China Finance & Economics Awards, organised by Hexun, China’s largest financial website. The award recognises CITIC Prudential’s outstanding products, services and innovation.

Hong Kong

Prudential Assurance received numerous awards in 2011 including :
  • Gold Award in the Insurance category of the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Awards 2011.
  • Merit Award for Highest Service Hour Award 2010 (Private Organisations) from Social Welfare Department’s Volunteer Movement.

ICICI Prudential Asset Management was awarded :
  • Best Debt Fund House at the Morningstar Fund Awards 2011. The award recognised sustained outperformance over three years, based on the Morningstar Risk-Adjusted Return across its debt fund line-ups.
ICICI Prudential Asset Management was the runner-up in the Best Equity Fund House category at the Outlook Awards 2011.

Japan

PCA ASSET's Indonesia Equity fund was selected as Fund of the Year for 2010 by Morningstar. The fund was chosen as the best fund among 557 funds in the International Stock Fund Division.  The award recognises PCA ASSET's capabilities and access to resources across the Group, while simultaneously achieving material fund flows, strong investment performance and sound risk management.

Korea

PCA LIFE Korea awarded the Social Benefactor Award at the 2007 EU-Korea Awards for its contributions to Korean society through the company's corporate social responsibility activities, focusing on children and education.
PCA ASSET Korea's PCA China Dragon A Share Equity fund was awarded Best Fund in Overseas Equity Category by MoneyToday-Morningstar Fund Award 2010, sponsored by KOFIA (Korea Financial Investment Association). Five Korea domiciled funds were awarded for each category and PCA China Dragon A Share Equity fund was the only overseas investment fund among the winners.

Malaysia

Four Prudential Fund Management’s funds – PRUAsia Pacific Equity Fund, PRUAsia Pacific Shariah Equity Fund, PRUdana al-ilham, PRUdana dinamik – have been included in FUNDSUPERMART’s Recommended Unit Trust Funds 2011/2012. The funds are evaluated in areas such as Performance, Expense Ratio and Risks.
Prudential Assurance received the Gold Award in the Insurance category of the Reader's Digest Trusted Brand Awards 2011. The award underscored consumers’ trust and confidence in Prudential, the strength of the brand, and the professionalism of our teams.
Prudential Assurance was voted one of Malaysia’s 100 Leading Graduate Employers in 2011. The judging was based on the preferences, priorities and influences of university students and fresh graduates when selecting their first employer after leaving their alma mater.
Prudential-BSN Takaful was named the Rising Star Takaful Institution at The Asset Triple A Awards 2011. The Asset Triple A Awards is the preeminent recognition for those that have excelled in the financial industry and is Asia’s defining recognition for excellence in the industry. The awards were adjudicated by The Asset’s Board of Editors who collectively has several decades’ worth of evaluating industry awards in Asia.

Singapore

Prudential received the Gold Awards in the Insurance and Investment Funds categories of the Reader's Digest Trusted Brands Award 2009.
Prudential Asset Management won Best-in-Class for Japan Equity in Asia at the Benchmark Fund of the Year Awards 2011. This recognition is testimony to the team’s dedication and strong investment and operational capabilities.

Taiwan

PCA LIFE was awarded the Innovative & Outstanding CSR Award for its ‘The Wishing Doll Charity Programme’, which raises funds for underprivileged children, at the Taiwan Excellence Insurance Award 2011.
PCA SIT won the following awards:
  • M&G Japan Smaller Companies Fund won the 2011 Lipper Best Fund Award (Taiwan) over a 10-year period in the Equity Japan Small and Mid-Cap category.
  • PCA Balance Fund won the 2011 TFF-Bloomberg Best Fund Award (Taiwan) over a 10-year period in the Domestic Balanced Fund sector.
  • IOF Dragon Peacock Fund won the 2011 TFF-Bloomberg Best Fund Award (Taiwan) over a 5-year period in the Asia Pacific ex Japan Equity Fund sector.

Thailand

Prudential was awarded 1st place by the Office of Insurance Commission for Life Insurance Company with Outstanding Management Development at the "Prime Minister's Insurance Awards", which took place at Government House in September 2010.

Vietnam

Prudential Vietnam Assurance was awarded the Third-Grade Labor Medal signed by the President of Vietnam. The Third-Grade Labor Medal was presented to Prudential to acknowledge the company’s excellent contribution to the development of Vietnam’s insurance market in the period of 2006 – 2010. This is the first time a Foreign Direct Investment insurance business has been honoured with this prestigious award.
Prudential Assurance was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for their contribution to the development of the country's economy.
